Deut. 6:4-7
"Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One. Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

I hate change

Anyone who knows me ususally will tell me that I'm so good at making changes, moving, making new friends, things that go with being military. Well, those who have known me in the last couple of years, know I hate it. I'm tired of it. Well, I guess I need to come up with something else to pray for other that things to stop changing, because I guess God thinks I still don't have it down. :) He knows best, right? He knows what we can handle, right?

So....here we go again, more change! Kelly is taking a job with his company to go you know where. Yuck! He will be as safe as he can be over there, but he will still be gone a year. Yuck!

The thing is, something struck me as we tried to make this decision. In my Beth Moore class it was asked if you ever had a rough time and realized God was preparing you for something even harder. Oh yeah! You could say that it has NOT been a piece of cake moving here. I have been isolated, homesick for WA, my favorite place we have lived so far, and I have struggled to find a church family. Then, right when things seem to be getting better, I find a church, I have friends I can count on, and WHAM! I am faced with a year without Kelly. Do you think God was getting me ready? I sure hope so, I'm not sure I'm ready, but I'm going to do my best.

We will keep Kelly and you & the girls in our prayers. And yes, God is making sure you have His support in place before Kelly leaves.

I am realizing that being comfortable and happy is only my goal for life and NOT God's!
